My Show Dry at Show Beauty Leeds | Review
Monday, August 10, 2015
Suffer from limp, flat, lack lustre hair? Long for a bit of bounce and shine? Well have I got a treat in store for you.
On Saturday I was given the opportunity to go have a blow dry with Chelsea at Show Beauty in Harvey Nichols Leeds, at their new stand alone Show Dry Bar and wow what an experience.
I was greeted with a friendly smile popped on my gown and sat down ready for the hair pamper Ive been looking forward to since giving birth 10 weeks ago.
Chelsea explained a little about Show Beauty the brand founded by Tamara Ecclestone and went through my hair type to tailor the blow dry specifically to my needs.
I have had dry, dull, lifeless hair and although I have lots of it it is very fine so lacks the volume and bounce and looks more flyaway and flat.
The 3 Products chosen for me were the Divine Thickening Lotion the Premiere Working Texture Spray and also the Lux Volume Mist. ( I will give a full review once I try all the products at home)
Can we just take a minute to appreciate the packaging I can't wait to get these on my dressing table pride of place. So elegant and luxurious.
My hair was lightly dampened then the products were applied in stages whilst my hair was dried in segments and popped into little twists with grips. It only took Chelsey 40 minutes to work her magic and the transformation was incredible. I couldn't believe it was my hair. So bouncy and full of life. The thickening lotion and Volume mist made my hair feel so thick not just look it and the Working Texture Spray gave it a lovely finish with no flyaways.
Ohh and the smell ...... yummmmmmm
I smelt of caramel for the rest of the day and kept getting people to sniff my head I was so impressed.
My friends thought I had my extensions in I was so happy with it I cannot recommend it enough. Perfect for girly days out, to just feel that bit more glamorous or before a big night out.
I even got a few whistles and wey heys on the way to the train station after, which after feeling like a whale 9 month felt quiet good to be honest.
Even the next morning I got up did my makeup and thought my hair was back to its limp old self but with a little wiggle on the roots with my fingers gave it a lift again.

(after)
The Show Dry is only £20 too so really affordable for a monthly treat I have already told my friends about it and no doubt we will all be making an appointment before a night out.
Do you think this is something you would book in for?

I've never splurged on a blow out but it's definitely something I would consider. I have very fine hair but a lot of it so hitting it with the blow dryer just increases my volume tenfold!
