As YSL is one of my biggest weaknesses when it comes to makeup I headed straight for their counter when I was in need of more foundation. The Foundation I choose was the YSL Teint Resist, Long Wear Endless Comfort Foundation.
Yet again I was draw in by the lovely glass bottle and gold top, plus I really liked the pump dispenser.

The boots website describes the foundation as
'The luminous, transfer-resistant formula forms perfectly to the skin for a soft and seamless result. The complexion is preserved from feelings of discomfort or tightening, remaining supple and silky-smooth from the morning through to night. Pigments are specially coated for a color-true effect and the formula absorbs excess oil through the day, for a complexion which always looks and feels fresh.
Teint Resist gives the guarantee of an even, smooth and comfortable complexion hour after hour, giving you the confidence to put your best face forward in every circumstance'.
Mmmmm well I’m gutted to say it but I really don't agree, I didn’t like this at all, the coverage wasn’t great and not very buildable, I usually like quite a full coverage and I found that I needed to use a second foundation to achieve the coverage I like.
I also found on applying the foundation it felt kind of dry, I know it was supposed to be oil controling but it was kinda just sitting in all the dry areas of my skin and didn't seem to blend very well.
To top it off after a few hours my skin felt and looked really greasy!
.
For me the foundation didn't last as long as it claims and wasn't as good with the oil control as I had hoped

On the plus side I have to mention, in terms of transfer-resistance this is probably one of the better foundations I have come across. unfortunately this is way down on my priority list when I am on the hunt for foundation, well behind, coverage, buildability, and price.
I think I may also need a darker shade, the lady at the YSL counter matched my colour for this foundation yet I still felt it was quite a bit too light.
Overall I was very disappointed with this, especially at £29.50!
