Liz Earle Superbalm
Sunday, July 14, 2013
Although i
have very oily skin on my face i do suffer with patches of dry skin on my arms
an particularly on my elbows, i found that i kept applying moisturisers but
they didn't really have an effect.
I got a Liz Earle travel kit as a present at Christmas which contained a little
pot of Superbalm and I thought i would give it a try.
The balm
claims to be “the ultimate skin saver gently softens and calms dry, chapped
skin on lips, hands, heels and elbows an even dry, frizzy hair. Massage daily
into nails and cuticles to condition and protect” no wonder they call it
Superbalm!!
As with all
Liz Earle product it contains naturally active ingrediants in the case of
superbalm these are vitamin E, Shea butter, natural waxes, Rosehip oil and Neroil oil.
The
consistency is very thick as the name suggests it is a balm texture with little
granular bits in it. It has a very distinctive smell which may be off putting
for some people but it is worth putting up with for the effects.
This stuff is
amazing it feels like you moisturising and exfoliating at the same time. As you massage the balm into your skin the granules
seem to melt into an oil consistency as they exfoliate allowing the skin to fully absorb the balm.
Instantly the dry patches on my arms and elbows were gone and stayed smooth all
day!!
Although i haven't tried this on my nails and hair yet, I can’t
recommend this stuff enough it really is fab, I soon used up the tiny pot (
which is great for carrying around in your hand bag) I bought the full sized 30g pot (which are pictured above) which was
£16.25 from the Liz Earle website.
I use this balm a lot and my Fiance even pinches it! but little goes a long
way so I can see this pot lasting quite a while!
Anyone else out there tried this magic balm?
